A SOFTER BEGINNING

I never planned to end up here, running a small, gentle studio filled with pet toys, cosy pieces, and calm colours. Before Dolly & Co, my world looked very different. I used to make cakes — big celebration cakes, detailed designs, long days on my feet, and the kind of creativity that required strength I didn’t always have.

Over time, my health made that work harder and harder. Eventually, I had to admit to myself that I couldn’t keep going at that pace. It wasn’t a failure — it was simply my body asking for a different kind of life. A slower one. A softer one. A life where I could still create, but in a way that didn’t push me beyond my limits.

That’s where Dolly came in.

On the days when everything felt heavy, she was the constant comfort I didn’t know I needed. Pets have this quiet magic — they don’t ask for explanations, they don’t judge, they don’t rush you. They just are. Her presence made the hard days softer, and the soft days meaningful.

Somewhere in those quiet moments, the idea for Dolly & Co began to grow. A small studio where I could create at my own pace. A space built on calm, comfort, and the joy pets bring into our lives. A place where every product is chosen with intention, every parcel is packed slowly and lovingly, and every order supports a business shaped by resilience rather than hustle.

Dolly & Co isn’t just a shop.
It’s the life I built when I had to start again.
It’s proof that slowing down doesn’t mean giving up — it means choosing a path that fits.
